storyboardimatics...

the following are examples of what a great deal of my career has been comprised of during the last 4-5 years.  i currently oversee the storyboard department for a current preschool show on Nickelodeon and from time to time am able to contribute creatively as well as supervisory.  like many shows we have musical segments for which we get demos.  the software we use to create our boards allows us to bring in audio so that while we draw our boards we can also get into some simple animation and timing for the animators to follow.  these are pretty good examples of that and you see just how much input the board artist has on the final scenes.

another board-imatic...but a couple of iterations.  one is the first pass...the other (with the final picture included) is the eventual outcome.  not a huge stretch but the direction shifted from a more performance driven musical number....to one that showcased the characters "thieving" motives.
